Let’s go to the hop with Barbie! Dressed in her poodle skirt, bobby socks, red sweater, and matching headband, Barbie is ready to kick up her saddle shoes at the sock hop. Barbie’s brown hair is curled in a tight fifties flip, and her cherry red lipstick gives her the perky teenage style of long ago. Her matching gold ball earrings and sweetheart locket are just the right touch to complete Barbies wholesome look. The trim of her black poodle skirt features black-and-white checks and soda fountain Coca-Cola glasses filled with coke floats that come with two straws–for sharing with Ken, of course.

Back in the ’50’s, it was really ‘hep’ to be at the local drive-in restaurant where pretty car hops served you burgers ‘n fries with a Coke and a smile! Rock ‘n Roll blasted from car radios cruisin’ in and rockin’ out!
