“DANNY” is the very first heirloom doll ever authorized by the Coca-Cola Company in collaboration with Franklin Heirloom Dolls. Crafted in hand-painted porcelain with inset eyes, Danny wears play clothes of crisp cotton. His wooden scooter is emblazoned with the world famous “Coca-Cola” trademark. Mint in box, vintage Franklin Heirloom doll “Danny” made in connection with COCA-COLA. Danny depicts a young boy at the turn-of-the-century riding his home made scooter made out of a wooden coca-cola crate.
The heads have been sculpted of fine bisque porcelain and painted by hand. The clothing and accessories are hand-detailed, and captures all the charm and nostalgic appeal that has made Coca-Cola memorabilia so popular among collectors.
These dolls came from the Franklin Mint display case as you walked into the late Franklin Mint. They are all production pieces from which the production run for each doll was made I believe. Some still have wrist tags stating that. From the Franklin Mint auction in Downingtown Pa when it closed several; years ago. They have nothing else with them. Coca Cola Limited Edition porcelain doll “Danny” with his wooden scooter NIB $225
“Danny” is approximately 20″ tall and has porcelain head and lower arms and legs with a cloth body. The Scooter is approximately 12″ long , 10″ tall and 5″ wide. “Danny” comes with his original tag. $105
“Kirby” is approximately 19″ tall and wears a very tailored gray suit, trimmed in beige. He wears a “newspaper boy” type hat. $105
“Megan” is approx 19″ tall. She is adorable with her little plaid “very tailored” dress, bloomers, and a flower rimmed velvet hat. $105
